Pittsburgh's original sharpshooter: a three-time All-American who led the nation in scoring in 1930 and carried Pitt to a one-point win in a game billed as a national championship showdown. His whole career was college and AAU ball, and no card of him existed until the Hall of Fame issued a bookmark in 1968, decades after he played.
